Reviews and Ratings
I stayed at the hotel and found it to be bustling with guys consuming copious amounts of beer and making quite a bit of noise. The rooms were under renovation during my stay on May 5th, 2012. The service was prompt, but there was also smoke just outside the entrance along with other hotel guests. The location had taken on massive amounts of rain, leading to flooded roadways. The dining experience offered several warm and cold options but had poor customer service. Overall, it was a mixed experience with some ups and downs.
Despite some noise disturbance from other guests in the room and a location that took some getting used to due to flooded roadways, my stay at the hotel offered a mix of positives and negatives. The bright side included being situated near Elk Mountain Winery, a family function, and the usual breakfast fare, while the downside involved certain service interactions and room placement.
The hotel looked like it had a cosmetic facelift but not 100%. The room rate was around $140/night. The fitness amenities were functional with a treadmill, stepper, and bike. Being located right next to the elevator was convenient, though there were some drawbacks.
I found the hotel to be a unique spot with some quirks. The rooms, although initially cold, were very clean and nicely decorated. The service, while somewhat stern at times, was at least cordial. The location had its charms despite being a bit overwhelming initially. The dining, though with typical fare, surprisingly stood out. Overall, a mixed experience with its highs and lows.
The hotel was a bit pricy considering all of the renovations being done, but overall, it was quite nice with great value for the money. The breakfast exceeded our expectations in terms of variety. The room had a really good showerhead, although the ongoing renovations could be a slight inconvenience.
The hotel has some ups and downs. The rooms are large and well-appointed, although there was a blocked passage with luggage that was a bit inconvenient. The service was friendly and accommodating, with the manager even offering special assistance. The location, while flooded with people during certain times, is convenient for exploring nearby attractions. The dining experience was enjoyable with a variety of warm and cold options. Overall, a mixed but decent stay.
